About Seaview

Hello,I'm Thomas.

I am the accountant behind Seaview. I work with small businesses, sole traders and individuals on the Isle of Man, from Bray Hill in Douglas.

The short version

I qualified with the ACCA and I am a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants. Seaview is a Registered Designated Business with the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority, and the IFA is my AML/CFT supervisor.

Most of the people I act for are Isle of Man small businesses, sole traders and individuals. A fee agreed before the work starts. Books kept current through the year. Answers in plain English.

If something I send does not make sense, ask again. That is the job, and I would far rather you asked twice than nodded along once.

Thomas Tustain

Founder

I qualified with the ACCA and have spent more than ten years in accounting. Before that I managed a restaurant. That is where I learned what a straight answer is worth at the end of a long day.

The compliance has to be right. Accounts filed, returns in, deadlines met. That is the baseline, not the service.

What I enjoy is the other part. Being on hand when you have a question. Looking at a decision with you before you make it. Telling you what the numbers mean for the thing you are actually trying to do.
