1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website, seaviewaccounting.im, which is operated by Seaview Accounting, an accounting practice based on the Isle of Man. By using the site you accept them. These are website terms only: our professional services are provided under a separate written agreement, your Letter of Engagement, which governs the services we provide to you and takes precedence over these terms in respect of them.

2. No advice or engagement

The content on this website is general information only and does not constitute accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. Nothing here takes account of your circumstances, and you should not act on it without advice specific to your situation. No client relationship is created by using the site or by contacting us until we have completed onboarding (including the customer due diligence we are required to carry out as a Designated Business) and a Letter of Engagement is in place.

3. Accuracy and availability

We keep the site's content up to date in good faith, but tax rates, thresholds and rules change, on the Isle of Man and elsewhere, and material may be out of date by the time you read it. We may change or remove content at any time and do not guarantee that the site will always be available or error-free.

4. Use of the site

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or disrupt its operation. The client portal is for authorised users only and is subject to any additional terms presented within it.

5. Intellectual property

All content, branding, design and materials on this site are owned by or licensed to Seaview Accounting and may not be reproduced without permission.

6. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on website content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Liability in connection with the services we provide to clients is dealt with in the Letter of Engagement, not here.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version published here applies to your use of the site from that date.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Isle of Man courts.
